Welcome to Stockholm 7 September 2013
Tjejmilen is the biggest sporting event for women in Sweden with 33,000 runners and joggers of all ages. The 30th Tjejmilen will be staged on Saturday 7 September 2013. Start at 13:00. This will be a jubilee race to remember!
In this race every runner participates on her own terms and runs at her own pace, no matter how old or fit she is. In the Tjemilen all finishers are winners!
Scenic course
Everyone loves the scenic course through the royal park ”Djurgården” in central Stockholm. The distance is 10,000 metres.
Live music along the course
Along the course rock bands, brass bands, samba orchestras and DJs will inspire you with music.
Medal and picnic
All finishers receive an exclusive commemorative medal. After the race all runners are served Swedish Cheesecake, fruit, mineral water and coffee.
Water and sports drink
Along the course there are four refreshment stations where water and Enervit G sports drink are available.
Ideal running conditions
The average temperature in Stockholm the first week of September is 17° C, equal to 58 degrees Fahrenheit. The humidity is around 50 per cent.
A race and a fun run
The Tjejmilen is a race and a fun run. You can choose if you want to participate in the Competition Class or in the Fun Run. • Competition Class: Your running time is recorded in the results list. Your intermediate time at 5 kilometres is also recorded. In 2012, 59 per cent of the runners did chose the Competition Class. • Fun Run. Here you jog at your own pace and check your own time on the digital clocks at the finish line. In 2012, 41 per cent of the runners did chose the Fun Run. The start is divided into 15 groups that start at 5 intervals.
Competition class: qualifying limits for start groups 1–3
If you enter the Competition class and want to start in one of the first three groups, you must have achieved one of these qualifying times during 2012 or 2013:
Group 1 • Sub 52 minutes in a 10 kilometre race. • Sub 24 minutes in a 5 kilometre race. • Sub 1 hour 55 minutes in a half marathon race. • Sub 4 hours 00 minutes in a marathon race.
Group 2 • Sub 56 minutes in a 10 kilometre race. • Sub 26 minutes in a 5 kilometre race. • Sub 2 hours and 00 minutes in a half marathon race.
Group 3 • Sub 58 minutes in a 10 kilometre race. • Sub 27 minutes in a 5 kilometre race. • Sub 2 hours and 05 minutes in a half marathon race.
When you enter, please specify where and when you achieved the qualifying limit. Name of race, date and your result.
Choose one of groups 4 – 15
The start is divided into 15 groups that start at 5 minutes intervals. The first three groups are reserved for the fastest in the Competition Class. Start groups 4 – 15 are for the remaining runners in the Competition Class and for all participants in the Fun Run. You choose a group according to your running ability when you enter. There will be a maximum of 2,000 runners in each group. The first group starts at 13:00. Group 15 starts at 14:35.
Here is a guideline how to choose start grpup: Group 4. This group is full. (For those who plan to run the whole distance in sub 60 minutes). Group 5. This group is full. (For those who plan to run or jogg the whole distance in sub 62 minutes). Group 6. This group is full. (For those who plan to run or jogg the whole distance in sub 64 minutes). Group 7. For those who plan to run or jogg the whole distance in sub 66 minutes. Group 8. For those who plan to jogg the whole distance in sub 68 minutes. Group 9. For those who plan to jogg the whole distance in sub 70 minutes. Group 10. For those who plan to jogg the whole distance in sub 74 minutes. Group 11. For those who plan to jogg or walk the whole distance in sub 78 minutes. Group 12. For those who plan to walk or jogg the whole distance in sub 82 minutes. Group 13. For those who plan to walk or jogg the whole distance in sub 86 minutes. Group 14. For those who plan to enjoy the nice course in about 90 minutes. Group 15. For those who plan to enjoy the nice course in more than 90 minutes.

Registration
• Registration fee for the Competition Class is 44 Euro. • Registration fee for the Fun Run is 38 Euro. • Minimum age: 14 years old (born 1999 or earlier). • Deadline for entries: 30 July 2013. You enter and pay by credit card on the internet. • When you have registered you get an e-mail within a few minutes with confirmation of your registration and a receipt of your payment.
Your registration is personal and can not be transferred to another runner.
Maximum 33,000 runners
The interest in Tjejmilen has increased during the last couple of years. from 21,964 registered runners in 2007 to a record number of 32,073 runners for the 2012 Tjejmilen. In 2013 33,000 runners will be accepted. If this limit is reached before 30 July, the registration will close at that date.
Start list
Your name will be in the start list three days after your registration has been completed.
The official 2013 training T-shirt
The official Tjejmilen 2013 training T-shirt is for sale to all runners who enter the race. The T-shirt is pink with the words “Jag tränar för Tjejmilen 2013” (I am training for the 2013 Tjejmilen). The T-shirt costs 29 Euro, including postage. If you want to buy the T-shirt, add the cost to your entry fee. The T-shirt is available in the following women´s sizes: S – XL. The T-shirt will be sent to you by post.
